Triveni Sangam

Triveni sangam is the meeting place of three rivers GANGA, YAMUNA and

SARASWATI.  It is in Allahabad, India.

  This place is considered very holy by the Hindus. It is believed that a dip in this river purifies one's soul as a drop of necter had fell here from the hands of God. So thousands of people come here for the holy dip. Every twelve years the famous Kumbh Mela takes place here.
