Brindavan Garden Mysore, was built in 1942 by Sir M. Vishveswariah and designed by Mirza Ismail , the diwan of Mysore. Fountains like these add to the beauty of the garden. Behind is the Krishnarajasagara dam which is build across river Cauvery. This dam was build during the period of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. This garden has been a very popular setting for many Indian films.
